“You are Not alone.
In a safe space, I will meet you wherever you are.
As your witness & guide, it is my Honor to offer you some tools & insights that have helped so many heal, grow & step into the highest version of themselves.”
~ Colleen
I believe in the Art, Magic & Science of the “therapeutic relationship” (client & therapist) to foster healing and promote growth.
Being with a client as they share their most intimate experiences, fears, sorrows & dreams, is one of my deepest callings.
In sessions, (and through yoga & meditation,) I offer a window to experience the Bliss of “presence,” & the power of the NOW moment; a window back to one’s own Light & Truth.
Awareness allows for Choice; Choice brings Empowerment & Freedom.
”Between stimulus & response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
~ Victor Frankl

Why Colleen?
Colleen was born with a passion for healing, and inspiring others to live their fullest, happiest lives. She has spent the past 30 years as a healthcare practitioner, beginning as an RN at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. For the last 15 years, she grew her experience to include mental and emotional well-being. Colleen’s intuitive sense that yoga & meditation were a pathway toward healing were confirmed with research that connected our physiology to emotional, mental, & spiritual well-being.
Colleen eagerly integrated her Licensed Mental Health Counseling degree with a Certification as a 200 hr Yoga Teacher in 2022 from the Himalayan Institute, & Registered with The Yoga Alliance. She has gone on to train as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, an on-going process where she continues to learn ever-more about the nervous system, stress, trauma, and a myriad of practical tools for integrating the body, mind & soul; for connecting back to the “Self,” and for promoting healing, growth, & expansion.
Colleen’s counseling style is Person Centered, Trauma-Sensitive, flexible, eclectic, holistic, & evidenced based. Rooted in research on the relationship between the therapist & their client as the “key ingredient” that fosters recovery, she partners “with” her clients to create their vision. She has a wealth of knowledge, skills, & wellness tools to offer & tailor, to support each client’s unique needs & goals.
